Easy Chicken Recipes

Japanese style Fries

This is a French fry recipe but in Japanese style. The specialty of this recipe is the nanami togarshi, which is a Japanese spice. It tastes like sour and chilli. It has a flavour of orange. You can get it on Asian stores or Asian food section on superstore. I have bought from amazon, because I am crazy food lover and that time I could not get that at local store.

Ingredients:

3 large baking potatoes or any kind of potato peeled, cut lengthwise into long strips like French fries,

2 tablespoons olive oil

Nanami Togarashi

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon nanami togarashi

1 teaspoon sugar

Method:

Place rack in top third of oven and preheat to 400°F. Place potato strips on a cookie sheet or on a baking tray layered with aluminum foil.

Drizzle with olive oil; toss to coat. Roast 25 minutes.

Using spatula, turn chips over in between times.

Roast until golden brown around edges, about (25 minutes or less or more) depends upon the oven.

You have to check it; it should be tender and nice golden brown coloured.

Mix salt, nanami togarashi, and sugar in small bowl.

Sprinkle over the fries and serve.
