I live with my husband and son. I have a passion for cooking fresh, flavourful and tasty food, that we can eat and love and safe from health point of view. My goals are to be able to play in the kitchen, to do experiment for flavourful satisfying different dishes with the same simple ingredients.
FOOD PHILOSOPHY
Food is central to life that should never be ignored.
I believe in eating real food that came from living plants rather than sitting in a box and had synthesized through some chemical reaction and preservation.
I cook every day because me and my family don’t like to eat the same food next day, if in case I have left over in the fridge, I mix and match and try to experiment a new recipe from that to give it a fresh brand new taste.
I believe that to really appreciate food, beyond its freshness, having an understanding of where food comes from and how it is made.
Food is deeply connected to how we want to see ourselves. I am completely convinced of this, and each experience proves this to me.
This blog is about my cooking and finding ways to make food more enjoyable and flavourful, without being overly complicated because my husband says that at the end of the day, food is meant to be eaten, not hung on a wall as a show piece.
I strongly feel that cooking should not be something people are afraid of, cooking, instead, is how you learn about yourself and develop or share your own culture by interacting with others and their food.
Food is all about simplicity and pleasure, and sharing.
