Brian boosting recipe Almond pudding

Almond is considered a nutrient for the brain and nervous system since ancient times. It is said to boost high intellectual level, mood and longevity. The almond contains phenylalanine, this is little chemical is shown to work in conjunction with our cognitive processes and supports healthy neurological function. and L-carnitin for good memory. Almonds contain another brain boosting element called nutrientriboflavin as well as L-carnitine,which  is important for the brain because it helps make it possible for our brain to prevent any neuronal degeneration, such as Parkinson’s disease . The L-carnitine that is found in almonds and other nuts also helps in the release of acetylcholine, which is essential for good memory.

Almonds are good alternatives for peanut allergy sufferers.

 

Ingredients:

2 handfuls of Almonds (30-40)

Cashew nut 2

Cardamom 1 crushed

Saffron 6-7 strings (optional)

Milk 3/4 litre

Sugar 3 tsp.

Method:

Soak almonds in warm water for about 1 hour.

Peel almonds and grind them to paste along with the cashew nuts using milk.

Soak 2-3 strands of saffron in 1/4 cup of warm milk.

Bring remained milk to boil in a pot.

Add the almond paste to the boiled milk along with sugar and crushed cardamom and cook in low flame stirring continuously for 10-12 minutes until the milk become thick as your desired consistency.

Adding saffron soaked in warm milk add the colour and flavour of the pudding. But saffron is optional.

Serve it hot or chilled.

Note: Though almond is very nutritious for brain and as well as for improvent of complexion and prevent cancer but it has fat too, so it’s a very delicious special occasion dish.
